Giulio Neri is awarded the 2025 FAM scholarship

The Center for Space, Time and the Quantum (CSTQ) is pleased to announce that Dr. Giulio Neri has been awarded the "Scholarship for Researchers in the Physics of the Universe" (fam-bs-n.1/2025), funded by the Antonio Madonna Foundation ETS, for his project "Orbit method for corner symmetry groups" dedicated to the study of fundamental symmetries of gravity in a quantum context.
Dr. Neri, who received his PhD cum laude in 2025 from the International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA) in Trieste, was selected by an evaluation committee chaired by Professor Carlo Rovelli and composed of Professors Stefano Liberati and Flaminia Giacomini.
The one-year study and research activity will begin in January 2026 at the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics in Waterloo, Canada.
